We are so excited to introduce the B2B Kids Learning School, a small and nurturing learning program for children aged 18 months to 3.5 years.

We believe some of the most valuable learning happens through play. Children naturally want to explore, build, create, move and discover, so our program gives them opportunities to develop important skills while still enjoying being little.

Our activities incorporate creativity, sensory experiences, movement, fine motor development, problem-solving and practical learning.

One day might involve painting and learning colours, while another could include building, sorting, imaginative play or exploring different textures. These simple experiences can help children develop coordination, concentration, communication, confidence and independence.

Our approach is influenced by Steiner and Montessori principles while remaining flexible and child-led. We want children to have the freedom to explore their interests rather than expecting every child to learn in exactly the same way.

At Back to Basics 4 Life, we believe NDIS support should be engaging, meaningful and built around real progress. Support is not just about filling time. It is about creating opportunities for participants to develop confidence, independence and life skills in ways that feel enjoyable and motivating.

Every participant is different, which is why we tailor sessions to suit individual goals, abilities and interests. Sometimes the most effective learning happens when it feels like fun.

Building Hand and Eye Coordination Through Target Work

One activity we love using is target training, where participants aim to hit a target when it lights up. This type of exercise is exciting, interactive and highly beneficial for coordination.

It helps develop:

  • Hand and eye coordination
  • Reaction speed
  • Focus and concentration
  • Balance and body awareness
  • Confidence through achievement

For many participants, these types of movement-based games improve both physical skills and mental engagement. It creates a challenge while still feeling rewarding and enjoyable.

Learning Through Play With Wooden Blocks

Another simple but powerful activity is building towers using big and small wooden blocks. Participants might challenge each other to see who can build the strongest or tallest tower.

This activity supports:

  • Fine motor skills
  • Problem solving
  • Patience and persistence
  • Spatial awareness
  • Turn taking and social interaction

Something as simple as block building can create valuable learning moments. It encourages creativity while helping participants practise focus, planning and resilience.

Nature Walks to Reset and Regulate

After higher energy sessions such as boxing or active movement, it is important to help the body and mind reset. One of the best ways to do this is through a calming nature walk.

Nature walks can support:

  • Emotional regulation
  • Reduced stress and anxiety
  • Improved mood
  • Sensory calming
  • Community participation and confidence outdoors

Walking after exercise also teaches participants the importance of balancing high energy activity with calm recovery strategies.

Why This Style of NDIS Support Works

The best support often combines movement, learning and enjoyment. When participants are engaged, they are more likely to build skills naturally and stay motivated over time.

At Back to Basics 4 Life, our sessions are designed to feel purposeful, positive and person-centred. Whether it is target work, creative games, fitness sessions or community walks, every activity is chosen to help participants grow.

NDIS support should never feel repetitive or limited. It should inspire progress, confidence and connection.

Through movement, play and community-based activities, participants can develop practical skills while enjoying the process.
